CFC(Chloro Fluoro Carbon) is responsible for ozone hole  because CFC is very light gas which easily move upwards and reaches stratosphere where it react UV ray from sun to form free radical of Chlorine which is highly reactive with ozone molecule to form hypochlorite which leds to the hole in the ozone layer.
