Detailed Solution

The President of the Muslim League in 1930 was Sir Muhammad Iqbal. Muhammad Iqbal served in the All India Muslim League in several capacities, and in 1930, at its session in Allahabad, United Provinces, he was chosen president of the Muslim League. He sketched a vision of an independent nation for Muslim-majority areas in northwestern India in his presidential address on December 29, 1930. The All-India Muslim League was a political party founded during British rule in India in 1906. Its aggressive lobbying for the establishment of a distinct Muslim-majority nation-state, Pakistan, from 1930 onwards eventually led to the British Empire's partition of India in 1947.
