Detailed Solution

Given,
The prices of jewel raised by 65%.
Let the original price of the jewel be Rs. P  and the profit earned by the third seller be c%
Selling Price of 1st seller,
Rs. 120 100 ×P=C.P.  of 2nd seller
Selling Price of 2nd seller
Rs. 125 100 × 120P 100 =C.P.  of 3rd seller
Selling Price Of 3rd seller =Rs. 100+c 100 × 125 100 × 120P 100
According to the given condition,
100+c 100 × 125 100 × 120P 100 = 165P 100
100+c = 2 3 ×165   =110
c=110100 c=10%
Hence, the profit earn by the seller is 10%.
Hence, the correct option is 2.
