Given that

One dozen of mangoes = Rs. 600

Discount for two dozen of mangoes = 5%

Discount for one dozen of mangoes = half of the discount on two dozen of mangoes

= $\frac{5}{2}$

= 2.5 %

Price of one dozen mangoes after discount = 600 x 2.5%

= 600 x $\frac{2.5}{100}$

= 6 x 2.5

= Rs. 15

Final price of one dozen of mangoes after discount = Rs. 600 - Rs. 15

= Rs. 585
