  Concept- Firstly, assume the cost of scooter and cycle to be 9x and 5x respectively. Then form an equation based on the condition given.  Assume, the cost of scooter to be 9x the cost of cycle to be 5x
Given: The cost of a scooter is Rs. 4200 more than that of cycle.
So, we can write
⇒  9x=5x+4200
⇒  9x-5x=4200
⇒  4x=4200
⇒  x= 42004
⇒  x=1050
Therefore, the cost of cycle will be  5x=5 ×1050 
=Rs. 5250
Hence, the correct option is 1.
