Detailed Solution

The property by which iron differs from copper and aluminium is lustre.
The appearance of any material can either be dull or shiny. The shiny appearance of any material is termed lustre. Iron is different from copper and aluminium in its dull appearance. The lustre in iron can only be seen on its surface once it is freshly cut. But it loses its shine after time because it reacts with the air and moisture deposits rust on its surface. On the other hand, copper and aluminium have a shiny appearance and do not lose their shine.
