moles of CO2/(moles of CO2 + moles of H2O)~ moles of CO2/moles of H2

as mole of CO2 are insignificant in contrast to the amount of moles of water
500 ml of water equals 500 g of water, which equals 500/18, or 27.78 moles of water.
Therefore, moles of CO2 = 0.042 moles

moles of CO2/27.78 = 0.00152.
