Detailed Solution

 As we know that,
Probability = No. of favorable outcomes  Total no. of outcomes
From the question we have,
A deck has a total 52 numbers of cards. Now, King, queen and jack of diamonds are removed from a deck of 52 playing cards.
So, Total number of outcomes = 52 – 3 = 49,
There are 4 jacks in a deck. After removing a jack of diamond we left with 3 Jacks.
Number of favorable outcomes = 3
Probability = No. of favorable outcomes  Total no. of outcomes
                   = 3  49
