circumference of a circle is 2πr.
Therefore, circumference of a semicircle is πr
Diameter of semicircle is 2r
i.e 2r = 2 × 21 = 42 m.
The distance to walk all around the ground is πr + 2r
circumference of = πr
semi circle
= 66 m
The Distance to walk all around the ground = 6.6 m + 42 m.
= 108 m
