Detailed Solution

Swami Vivekananda established the Ramakrishna Mission in 1896. The Ramakrishna Mission, named after Swami Vivekananda's guru Ramakrishna Paramhansa, emphasised the ideal of salvation through social service and selfless action. Swami Vivekananda combined Sri Ramakrishna's simple teachings with his well-founded modern outlook and spread them throughout the world. Indeed, Swami Vivekananda was the first Indian in modern times to re-establish the Vedanta philosophy's spiritual preeminence on a global scale. His mission, however, was not simply to discuss religion. He was deeply moved by his countrymen's poverty and misery. He was adamant that any reform could only be successful if it improved a lot of the masses. As a result, his clarion call to the Indian people was to rise above the narrow confines of their "religion of the kitchen" and unite in the service of the nation.
