Area of the floor = l × b
= 45 × 32
= 1440 m2
∴ Area of the floor is 1440 m2

∴ Total cost = 40 × 1200

Width of the carpet is 80 cm
80 cm = 0.8 m
length of the carpet = = 1800 m
