Then, area of  ΔACE= 1 2 ×AC×PE = 1 2 ×4×4 =8sq  And area of ΔBDE= 1 2 ×BD×QE = 1 2 ×4×1 =2sq units    Ratio of Area of triangles is = 8 2 Ratio of Area of triangles is=4:1  
Therefore, the ratio of area of triangles is 4:1  .
