Detailed Solution

Given, Number of girls in the class = 18

Given, Ratio of boys and girls = 4 : 3

According to the question,

Boys Girls= 43

Boys 18= 43

Boys =4 × 183 = 24

So, the total number of boys = 24

Therefore, the total number of students = 24 + 18 = 42.
