The ratio of boys and girls is 3:4.
Let the number of boys be 3x and girls be 4x.
According to the question:
4x-3x = 8
Or, x = 8
No of girls = 4×x
= 4×8
= 32
And number of boys= 3

\times 8 = 24

Hence, total number of boys and girls=32+24=56
