Power(P)=work donetime taken            P=Fst
           P=F×v    [as st=velocity(v)]
Here
F= force in newton
s= displacement
t= time
v= velocity
Given,
In X case, frictional force  FX=10 N
The distance travelled by X SX= 8 m
In Y case, frictional force FY=20 N
Let the distance travelled by Y =SY
The ratio of the power of X and Y is 4:3
PXPY=43  ……..Eqn(1)
 Power of X PX=(10 × 8) / 1    =80 W
 Power of Y =(20 × SY )/1 =20×SY
Now from equation 1.
8020 SY=43
SY=80×320×4
SY=3 m
So the distance travelled by Y is 3 m.
