Detailed Solution

All three points are the reasons for the development of factories in the second half of the 19th century;
The establishment of industries in India in the second half of the nineteenth century was due to the British conducting the opium trade with China, which yielded enormous profits. Many Indians worked as minor players in the trade with China and amassed enormous wealth. Profits from the opium trade were used to establish massive indigenous industries. Jamsetji Tata, for example, established industry from the proceeds of the opium trade. Seth Hukumchand established the first jute mill, which traded with China. Indian industries were not permitted to engage in external trade. As a result, they only operated in India.
