Detailed Solution

The regional political party predominant in Maharashtra is Shiv Sena.
Bal Thackeray, an Indian cartoonist, created the Shiv Sena. It is a right-wing Marathi regionalist and Hindu ultra-nationalism political party established in 1966. The party, which started in nativist protests in Bombay (modern-day Mumbai), campaigns for preferential treatment for Marathi citizens over immigrants from other regions of India. A bow and arrow is Maharashtra's election emblem. Bal Thackeray's son, Uddhav Thackeray, is a party leader and was Maharashtra's chief minister from 2019 until June 29th, 2022. The party has attempted to grow to have a pan-Indian presence even if its main support base is still in Maharashtra. It eventually shifted in the 1970s from supporting a narrow Hindu nationalist agenda to one that helped a more expansive one, and it allied itself with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
