The resistivity does not change, if the shape of the resistor is changed.
It is the nature of the material on which the resistivity depends.
As the different metals have different properties, the melting point is different for different materials. So, according to the properties of the material electrical resistivity also changes. Resistivity is the reciprocal of conductivity. It is found that the resistivities of the materials can be changed by changing the temperature.
