Detailed Solution

The revenue assessments received by mansabdars were called jagirs. Mansabdars were officials in the Mughal government.
Mansabdars were the title given to nobility who enlisted in the Mughal army. All positions in the military and civil service were filled by Mansabdars. The officer's pay, prestige, and position increased with increasing Mansab(rank). Later on, however, Zat and Sawar came to represent the rank of mansabdar. Those mansabdars who received their pay in cash were known as Naqdi. Jagirdars were mansabdars who received payment in the form of land (Jagirs).
