Detailed Solution

The rich peasants were called Kulaks. It was the Russian phrase for prosperous peasants. Kulak had no faith in socialism. Because their power would be destroyed, as would all of their money. Socialism removed private property as a means of production. Rich and powerful people's lands were confiscated. Railways, mines, banks, insurance firms, and industries were all nationalised. The titles used in the aristocracy were prohibited. Joseph Stalin held the Kulaks accountable for the grain shortfall in Russia from 1927 to 1928. As a result, it became imperative to get rid of them. They were seen as the impoverished peasants' class adversaries.
