Given roots of the quadratic equation are 5 and -2.
We know that, if α and β are the roots of the quadratic equation then quadratic equation is given by,
x2-(α+β)x+αβ=0 .
 Here, α=5 and β=-2. Then,
α+β=5+-2=3 and αβ=5-2=-10.
