Detailed Solution

Given quadratic equation

3x2-2x+13=0.............(i)

On comparing eq (i) with ax2+bx+c=0 we get

a=3, b=-2, c=13

Discriminant of quadratic equation

D=b2-4ac

Putting the value of a, b, c

D=(-2)2-4×3×13

D=4-4

D=0

Hence the roots of given quadratic equation are real and equal.
