Detailed Solution

The Sayyid Dynasty was founded by Khizr Khan. The Tughlaq dynasty was overthrown by the Sayyid dynasty. Khizr Khan defeated the Daulat Khan of the Tughlaq dynasty. Khizr Khan captured Delhi and founded the Sayyid dynasty. He did not use the title of Sultan. The coin was struck and read in the name of Timur. He was the most competent ruler of the Sayyid dynasty. After his death, his son Mubarak Khan succeeded to the throne. Later, Alauddin Alam Shah, the last ruler of the Sayyid dynasty, found it difficult to continue as Sultan, so he left for Badaun. In 1451, Bahlol Lodi became sultan with the help of some nobles, starting the era of the Lodhi dynasty.
