Detailed Solution

The second Ashramas among the four is grihastha. Brahmins created ashrama. Instead of individuals living and meditating, it is employed as a stage of life. Brahmacharya, grihastha, vanaprastha, and sannyasa were recognized as the four ashramas. There are four ashramas in total: Sannyasa (religious life), Vanaprastha (retired life), and Brahmacharya (student life) (life of renunciation). In general, women had to adhere to the ashramas their husbands had chosen and were forbidden to read the Vedas. The stages of life known as ashramas offer instruction and a setting for realizing our ideal of living.
