Detailed Solution

The shift From hand printing to automatic printing led to the print revolution.
Between 1450 and 1550, printing presses flooded European lands. German publishers roamed Europe and printed literature on a large scale. This marked the beginning of a new era of printing technology that affected many parts of Europe. With the subsequent growth of printing presses, book production also increased. In the second half of the fifteenth century, some 20 million copies of printed books flooded the European market for 50 years. This rate has risen to 200 million copies. With the advent of printing presses on the European continent, the printing revolution became the water hub of European history.
