The small farmers borrow money from some traders to meet these requirements. The small and marginalised farmers who lack money on their own often borrow money from traders to meet their needs, including seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, etc. Since the farmers cannot buy these independently, they borrow money from the small and big traders in the neighbouring areas.
