Though the average for the population below the poverty line for all categories in India is 22, 43 out of 100 people who belong to Scheduled Tribes cannot satisfy their necessities. 29 percent of Scheduled Castes are declared poor. Scheduled caste or the scheduled tribe people mark the sincerity of the issue. Some recent research has shown that leaving the scheduled tribe households behind, all three groups (i.e. scheduled castes, the urban casual labour households, and rural agricultural labourers) have observed a reduction in poverty in the 1990s.
