The Socialist International Body is the second international party.
By the early 19th century, socialist ideas had been spread to almost all parts of Europe. The Europeans were looking for an alternative to the democratic monarchs. The common people who supported the Socialist Party thought that socialism would serve as a cause for redemption and equality. Socialism would be handing power to the hands of the communists. The most important thing was that by the 1870s, socialism had been spreading all around Europe. Thus, the Socialist mentality groups and states created a Common Socialist organisation to look after the cause. As a result, the Second International was formed.
