The Spartacist League that emerged in Germany was based on the pattern of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. The birth or emergence of the Weimar Republic in the post-world war (1914-1918) of Germany coincided with the revolutionary uprising of the Spartacist League. With this political development and the increasing presence of Soviet workers and sailors in the cities, the political atmosphere of Berlin was affected. The new development in the political atmosphere of Berlin was the increasing demand for Soviet-style governance. However, this increased demand was not absolute.
