We face a situation of underemployment in our country. Even though they are willing to work, people cannot find the job they want. Disguised unemployment is widespread in the agriculture sector. The number of workers in the fields exceeds what is necessary. When the extra workers are gone, the output stays the same.
The secondary and tertiary sectors also employ highly skilled and educated people. Some people, including painters, plumbers, and repairers, may work all day long but make very little money.
