The string makes an angle of = 8 °  .  The value sinθ= 8 15    We use the identity sinθ= height hypotenuse  
We draw the diagram,

sinθ= Height Hypotenuse sinθ= AB AC  
Substituting θ= 8 °   and AC=100 in sinθ= AB AC   ,
sinθ= AB AC sin 8 ° = AB 100 8 15 = AB 100    AB= 8 100 15 AB= 800 15 AB=53.33m   Thus, the height of the kite is 53.33 m.
