Given that the students of Anju's class sold posters to raise money. She applied the concept of variation for finding the amount of money her class would make for different numbers of posters sold and she raised ₹ 250 for every 60 posters sold.
We need to find that how much money would Anju's class make for selling 102 posters.
Assume that money made for selling 102 posters is ₹ m.
Knowing the fact that money raised is in direct proportion with posters sold and hence the ratio of money raised and posters sold is constant.

\frac{money raised}{posters sold} = constant

Equate the ratio of ₹ 250 and 60 posters sold with ratio of ₹ m and 102 posters sold.

\frac{m}{102} = \frac{250}{60}

m = \frac{102 \times 25}{6}

m = 17 \times 25

m = 425

Money made by Anju's class for selling 102 posters is ₹ 425.
Hence, the correct option is 1.
