From 1325 to 1351, Muhammad Bin Tughlaq was the Sultan of Delhi. The Delhi Sultanate expanded to its greatest extent under his leadership. It invaded a huge portion of the Indian continent. He overcame his enemies and seized numerous cities. Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq had an elder son named Muhammad Bin Tughlaq. The Tughlaq dynasty was created by Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq. The Sultanate taxed the peasants in exchange for caring for them and upholding their rights. The Sultanate expanded to its greatest extent under Muhammad Tughluq. Alauddin Khalji was the first military emperor to enter southern India, and Muhammad Tughluq was the last.
