Let the first number be x.
Then as numbers are consecutive odd numbers,
The second number is x+2   and
The last number is x+4   .
Then as per question,
x+(x+2)+(x+4)=81  
  3x+6=81  
  3x=81−6  
  x= 75 3 =25  
Other numbers are
  x+2=25+2=27  
  x+4=25+4=29  
Thus, the middle number is 27 when the sum of three consecutive odd numbers is 81.
Hence, option (2) is correct.
