Given that the sum of the two integers is 238.
Let the two integers be x   and y.   Therefore we have
  x+y=238   Also given that, one of the integers is -122.
Consider y=−122.  
Thus, we have
x+y=238 ⇒x+(−122)=238 ⇒x−122=238 ⇒x=238+122 ⇒x=360   Thus, the value of the other integer is found to be 360.
