Given, the sum of two successive odd numbers is 36.
Let one of the odd numbers be x.
Every successive odd number is differ by 2.
So, the other odd number is x+2.
So, according to the question,

x + (x + 2) = 36 .

x + x + 2 = 36

2 x + 2 = 36

2x = 34
x = 17
So the odd numbers are 17 and 19.
Hence, option 1 is correct.
