Detailed Solution

The Supreme Court has laid down the guidelines that police must follow at the time of arrest, detention, and interrogation. The Supreme Court has established guidelines for police personnel to follow during arrest, detention, and questioning. Every police officer is required to wear a name and designation tag. A thorough record of the people conducting the police interview should be kept. The officer must write an arrest memo detailing all aspects of the arrest. It must also include at least one witness' signature, who can be a relative of the arrestee or a respected member of the community where the arrest was made. Police personnel must also note minor or significant injuries to the registered person's body in an inspection memo if the arrestee requests it. This must be signed by both the arrested person and the arresting officer. This memorandum should also be sent to the detained person.
