Detailed Solution

The Swadeshi movement was also known as the Vandemataram movement.
The Vandemataram movement, also known as the Swadeshi movement in India, was the most powerful in Bengal. The boycott of products abroad was one of the movement's main aspects. Picketing stores selling foreign goods and boycotting foreign products became prevalent in rural Bengal and large cities and towns across the nation. In addition, people began to assemble and criticise the British administration. The division of Bengal by Lord Curzon in 1905 led to the Swadeshi movement. This movement attracted the nationalist feelings of many Indians who came to the streets to protest against the British government.
