Detailed Solution

Mahatma Gandhi designed the Swaraj flag in the year 1921.
This flag represented unity among Indians and also unity against exploitation. The flag consisted of three colours, red, green, and white, with a wheel. That was the design of this tricolour flag. The flag was a symbol of Indians, which also symbolised equality, justice, and liberty. Gandhi was a follower of both truth and non-violence. Britishers wanted to break the unity between Hindus and Muslims. But Gandhiji always supported secularism. So he designed flags to represent unity among Indians.
