Detailed Solution

The system of Panchayati Raj involves the village, Block, and District levels.
The gram panchayats serve as the fundamental unit of local government in India's Panchayati Raj system, which is still in place today. Panchayati Raj, as the system eventually came to be known, was introduced on October 2, 1959, in Nagaur, Rajasthan, by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the prime minister at the time. The Sarpanch is the elected head of the Gram Panchayat, which is at the village level. For a five-year term, members of the gram panchayat are chosen directly by the village's voting-age populace. Block Samiti of Panchayat Samiti, or Mandal Parishad: Generally speaking, the block panchayat is a more advanced form of the gram panchayat. District-level Zila Parishad in Panchayat Raj, is a common name for the district-level administration of the advanced system. An IAS official who simultaneously acts as the District's panchayat raj chief is in charge of this system of government.
