Detailed Solution

The Tawa Matsya Sangh is fighting for the rights of the displaced forest dwellers of the Satpura forest in M.P.
The Tawa Matsya Sangh is a coalition of fish workers' cooperatives. In 1994, the government provided private contractors with the freedom to fish in the Tawa reservoir. The private contractors ordered the villagers to vacate the place and stopped them from fishing in the river. The villagers noticed their source of livelihood being damaged by nonnatives. So, they decided to combine and oppose exploitation and prejudice by initiating an association that would resist their rights. This is how the Tawa Matsya Sangh originated and evolved as the association that fought for the rights of forest inhabitants of the Satpura forests in the Madhya Pradesh state. They scheduled rallies, marches, and jams and urged their right to restart fishing in reserve.
