 Let the temperature=x0C in celsius Equivalent to  =x0F We have relation C100=F-32180 x100=-x-32180 x5=-x-329 9x=-5x-160 14x=-160 x=-16014=-807=-11.430C Then its -x0F=11.430F For -11.430C we get Fahrenheit measure 11.430F Similarly if we consider Temperature=x0F Then its equivalent in Celsius scale should be -x0C Using relation C100=F-32180 -x100=x-32180 -x5=x-329 -9x=5x-160 -14x=-160 x=11.430F Then its Celsius equivalent is -11.430F in both cases having same umerical value but   opposite in sign.
