Detailed Solution

The term Liberalism is derived from the Latin word liber.
Liberal nationalism supported numerous ideals, including the inviolability of private property, individual freedom, equality before the law, representative government, and the constitution. Liberalism promoted market freedom. The term 'liberalism' derives from the Latin root liber, meaning free. All governmental constraints on the flow of capital and goods were something they sought to eliminate. Under Napoleon's rule, different currencies, weights, measurements, and customs taxes were established for each state. Liberals favoured a single economic zone. Many German states joined a Prussian customs union that eliminated all tariffs and decreased the number of currencies from thirty to two. Nationalist sentiments were further fueled by economic nationalism and unification. Liberal nationalism favoured excessive individual control over centralised governmental authority. It had an impact on the political, economic, and social realms.
