Concept- Charles Darwin proposed the pangenesis theory in 1868 which is a developmental theory of heredity. This theory is based on the inheritance of acquired characters from the environment.
Hugo de Vries gave the theory of evolution. According to the pangesis theory each cell release some parts called pangesis or gemmules, that combine together to form the gamete. Panagesis theory is about the heredity.
Mutation theory is proposed by Hugo De Vries, the theory states that new organisms can be the result of the mutation.
