These three states of matter are explained as-

Definite shape and definite volume. | Definite volume but no definite shape | Neither definite shape nor definite volume. |
Very strong intermolecular forces between molecules due to which molecules have a fixed position and can only vibrate. | Weak intermolecular forces of attraction due to which they can slide over one another but cannot skip the vessel. | Very weak intermolecular forces of attraction, due to which molecules can move freely. |
Molecules are closely packed with minimum energy. | Molecules are loosely packed and have intermediate energy. | Molecules are far apart and have maximum energy. They collide with the walls of the container and exert pressure on the wall. |
