The transvese section of a plant shows following anatomical features 

a) Large number of scattered vascular bundles surrounded by bundle sheath 

b) Large conspicuous parenchymatous ground tissue 

c) Vascular bundles conjoint and closed 

d) Phloem parenchyma absent

In monocotyledonous stem, there are large number of scattered vascular bundles surrounded by bundle sheath and have large conspicuous parenchymatous ground tissue. 

Being stem it’s vascular bundles are conjoint, being monocot phloem parenchyma is absent and vascular bundles are closed. 

So, all the collective characters are indicating the features of Monocotyledonous stem
