Detailed Solution

The Treaty of Constantinople of 1832 recognised Greece as an independent nation.
The Treaty of Constantinople was the outcome of the Constantinople Conference in February 1832. It was contested by the Great Powers of Britain, Russia and France on one side and the Ottoman Empire on the other. The treaty's key clause was that it recognised Greece as an independent nation. Leopold renounced his claim to Greece's crown. The deal also granted Greece autonomy over some territories. Greece was therefore established as an independent nation with this treaty.
