The triangular slave trade was carried out between Europe, Africa and America.
The slave trade was seen as an opportunity to earn maximum profit as enslaved people were the ones through whom the plantation owners reaped their earnings. Therefore, they work tirelessly for them. French merchants sailed from Europe to the African coast. They bought enslaved people from the local chieftains and sold them to plantation owners in America. They were seen as commodities which could be bought and sold in the marketplace. They fulfilled the demands of Europeans by working day and night in harsh conditions.
