Detailed Solution

The two major seasoned crops are rabi and Kharif crops.
Rabi crops are said to be those crops that were sown in winter and harvested in March and April. Hence, the rabi crops are also known as spring crops. Major rabi crops are wheat, barley, peas, gram, mustard, oilseeds, urad or black pulse, lentils, rajma, etc. On the other hand, Kharif crops are those crops that were sown in the monsoon and harvested in September and October. Therefore, the Kharif crop is also known as an autumn crop. Some major Kharif crops are rice, paddy, maize, millet, ragi, soybeans, groundnut, cotton, moong, arhar, jute, etc.
