The type of sex determination in humans is XX-XY. The allosomes in females are XX while the allosomes in males are XY. Males are heterogametic and produce two types of sperms. Half of them carry X chromosome while the other half carry Y chromosome. All the ova carry X chromosome. Sex is dependent on the type of sex chromosome in the sperm (X or Y). 

XX-X0 type of sex determination is seen in grasshoppers. 

Z0-ZZ type is found in Fumea (a moth). 

ZW-ZZ type is found in fowls.
